Public Health England released their campaign called ‘Cervical Screening Saves Lives’ on 5 March. The aim of this campaign is to encourage women to attend their cervical smear screening as attendance is at a 20 year low.

The new Integrated Lower GI Pathway for patients with low risk bowel symptoms will be launched w/c 4 March. This incorporates the use of Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) as a replacement for the Faecal Occult Blood Test (FOBt) and Calprotectin.
