First in-person gynaecology annual general meeting since the pandemic.

The South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Cancer Alliance recently held their annual general meeting on 31 March 2023 at Tankersley Manor to bring colleagues together working on gynaecology cancers to meet and greet everyone in person following a long period of remote working due to COVID-19 restrictions. 

It was fantastic to see how well the event was attended with great representation by all trusts and colleagues throughout the patch. The day was full of inspiration and sharing from across the region and beyond, with attendance from national and regional charities who made an impact on all who attended. 

Sharing and learning were the key focus and moving forward how we further expand on our good practice across the system. The event was also a great opportunity to meet and congratulate fellow colleagues who had left or retired during the pandemic. 

Overall, the event was inspirational, and engaging, and set the scene for taking forward learning and improvements across the pathways.
