Christine was diagnosed with bowel cancer after suffering symptoms such as fatigue and loss of mobility which are not the most commonly associated signs of the disease. After being checked for chest problems and having blood tests, doctors were concerned about her severe anaemia. This was later found to be caused by bowel cancer which was in its early stages.
