This area of our website is home to documents that support people with a learning disability. It includes easy-read leaflets and videos which aim to address the signs and symptoms of cancer as well as encourage anyone worried to see their GP.

We hope these resources help to reduce inequalities when it comes to detecting cancers in people with a learning disability.

Be Cancer Aware

We teamed up with 'Speakup' to produce this easy-read document which encourages early check ups and discusses the core signs and symtoms for various common cancers.

It also includes a link to the video of our South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw GPs enouraging people to continuing seeking healthcare when needed during the pandemic.

Speakup: Spreading the news

Speakup created this newsletter to relay the messages of the  'Open For Business' campaign to those with a learning disability.

It highlights that healthcare services remain open during the pandemic and relays the importance of continuing to seek help when it is needed.
