It's time to give up!

March 11 is national No Smoking Day.

Adult cigarette smoking across Yorkshire and the Humber has declined by more than 40% over the past 12 years, and 1,200 people have achieved a four-week quit in South Yorkshire since the introduction in 2021 of Lung Cancer Screening for smokers or ex-smokers aged 55 to 74 invited by their GP for a Lung Health Check. All current smokers are offered support to quit during the Lung Health Check, with no judgement whatever the answer.
