The National Cancer Diagnosis Audit (NCDA) offers unique insights into patient pathways to cancer diagnosis and provides tailored feedback at CCG level (if at least 10 local practices participate), allowing practices to understand existing good work in their areas for support/action to improve pathways and cancer waiting times performance. By way of an update from the Early Diagnosis workstream.

Audit registration continues and Cancer Research UK encourages CCGs to promote and support the audit locally.

Updates from across the region:

  • Barnsley CCG: 10
  • Bassetlaw CCG: 1
  • Doncaster CCG: 7
  • Rotherham CCG: 4
  • Sheffield CCG: 3
  • North Derbyshire: 6

Practices can sign up at any point in next 12 months and an interim report will be available from November 2019.
