The Cancer Alliance has teamed up with Weston Park Cancer Charity to launch a new large grant programme focused on projects that improve cancer outcomes in the priority areas of ‘Treatment and Care’ and ‘Early Diagnosis and Prevention’.

We are looking for community or hospital related projects, from individuals, groups or organisations, supporting people with a cancer diagnosis.

The minimum amount you can apply for is £10,000 and the maximum amount is £50,000. We are flexible with the term length; ideally, we are looking for one-year projects, but we will consider anything up to two years.

Applications are now open with a closing date of 30 November 2026.

Things we cannot fund:

  • NHS core services
  • Existing programmes or ongoing activity
  • Organisations outside our geographic area of South Yorkshire, Bassetlaw and North Derbyshire
  • Capital equipment and building projects
  • Exercise-based projects
