The Cancer Alliance membership scheme, Let's Talk Cancer, has launched.

The membership has been created to ensure the alliance has patient involvement at all possible levels of cancer care. The membership is for everyone interested in shaping cancer care and services.

'Let's Talk Cancer' sits under the Integrated Care System's membership scheme - 'Let's Talk Health & Social Care' and provides a specific focus for those interested in shaping cancer care in South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw.

The data collected from the memebership will record your specific area of interest. It will also track your level of interest and any skill set/contribution you wish to make to the Cancer Alliance based on your experiences.

You can engage on a number of levels such as offering to take part in patient story videos, joining meetings or simply just taking the occasional survey.

The membership comes under the umbrella of the SYB Integrated Care System's membership scheme 'Let's Talk Health and Social Care' and features three core levels in which you can engage:

BRONZE: Taking part in surveys (by email) and receiving infrequent email bulletins

SILVER: The same engagements as bronze, but you will also be invited to attend events (e.g. online workshops, events, and face to face meetings)

GOLD: The same engagements as silver and bronze but you will also be invited to participate in focus groups/telephone interviews and will be invited to attend open days and tours of departments.
