Weston Park Cancer Charity has appointed Emma Clarke as its new chief executive.

Sheffield born and bred Emma steps into the permanent position after spending six months as the charity’s interim CEO. During her time as interim CEO, Emma oversaw the phased re-opening of the high-quality, face-to-face services which Weston Park Cancer Charity provides for people affected by cancer in the South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire regions.

She also supervised the refurbishment of the Weston Park Cancer Charity Hub on Whitham Road into a welcoming, relaxing and private area for anyone who wants to pop in and have a chat with a member of the Weston Park Cancer Charity team.

Emma said: “I am looking forward to leading the charity and our amazing team to make sure that the one in two people diagnosed with cancer benefit from leading research, the best treatment and compassionate care.
